5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course

​This five-hour pre-licensing course is required by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for all applicants who want to take a road test for a driver’s license. A MV-278 completion certificate needed for road test appointments will be issued at the conclusion of this class. Please note: A New York State Learner’s Permit (photo ID) is required.

Preregistration is required through Continuing Education. Please go to https://form.jotform.com/202166739245155 to preregister for the 5-Hour Course. Students should arrive 10 minutes early. Class starts promptly at the scheduled time. Students must have their cameras on at all times during the course; the instructor must be able to see each student to confirm attendance for the duration of the class.
