Gurney Lane 5K Snowshoe Race

The Third Annual Gurney Lane 5K Snowshoe Race will be held on Sunday January 24th at Gurney Lane Recreation Area in Queensbury, NY. This is a Town of Queensbury event and should be a great day. Register at the pavillion. There are heated bathrooms and warming area as well as a playground and small sledding hill for the kids. There will be a Fat Tire Bike Race that will begin at 1 PM as well as Fat tire rides and demos. Come on out and run and then try some fat tire riding.

This year, they will be starting with a rolling interval start. Racers will start 1 at a time and they ask racers to self seed from fast to slower so they don't have a lot of passing on the trail.  Please come prepared to wear a mask or face covering for anytime you are not racing or when you are close to other competitors.
