{"id":4424,"date":"2009-09-21T20:03:54","date_gmt":"2009-09-22T00:03:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/foodie-blog\/2009\/09\/no-complaints.html"},"modified":"2009-09-21T20:03:54","modified_gmt":"2009-09-22T00:03:54","slug":"no-complaints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/foodie-blog\/2009\/09\/no-complaints\/","title":{"rendered":"no complaints"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>i am not complaining, definitely not complaining, but i can hardly wait til this weekend is past. i know it&#8217;s the balloon festival, and the taste of the north country, both admirable undertakings and a lot of fun. but we at samantha&#8217;s catering are sooooo busy this weekend that we won&#8217;t be able to look skyward for much more than strength to get the work accomplished and the clients totally satisfied. we will start at 2:30 am on saturday with breakfast for 45 workers doing the behind the scenes stuff for the balloon festival. then, at 1:00 the girls head to a catered affair outside of warrensburgh, actually a wedding reception. i will stay at the cafe for a 2:00 pick up of many hors doeuvres for another party. the client really wanted delivery, but we are lacking a vehicle so i gave them a discount for picking up their food. at 5:00, the balloon festival workers will pick up dinner, and then i will head toward bolton for an anniversary party drop off at green harbor. that is saturday. and at noon on saturday, i will walk to the farmers&#8217; market (we won&#8217;t be participating this saturday), to clean the bathroom as it is our assigned week. that may be just the break i need from cooking!
