Baker, vice president, Cool Insuring Agency, Inc.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cool Insuring Agency, Inc. has announced that Mark Baker, Vice President of Cool&#8217;s Employee Benefits Division, has been invited to serve on the Capital Region\/Mid-Hudson\/Northern Advisory Committee; one of five regional Committees established to assist in the development of New York&#8217;s health exchange program under the newly established New York Health Benefit Exchange. The New York Health Benefit Exchange was established by executive order of Governor Andrew Cuomo and is part of the Federal Healthcare Reform Act.<br \/>\nThe Capital Region\/Mid-Hudson\/Northern Advisory Committee is a large region stretching through the Hudson and Mohawk valleys and into the North Country. The other regional advisory committees include New York City\/Metro, Long Island, Central\/Finger lakes and Western New York. According to the letter of invitation from Donna Frescatore, Executive Director, each committee will be comprised of representatives of consumers, small business, health care providers, insurance agents and brokers, labor organizations and other stakeholders.
