The unit is named in tribute to long-time Glens Falls surgeon, the late Dr. Harry M. &#8220;Mac&#8221; Depan.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of 27 private patient rooms and other new patient care amenities were supported through community and corporate contributions. The unit advances the quality of surgical care in the region and is designed for the maximum comfort of patients recovering from major surgery, with an emphasis on getting them &#8220;back to living&#8221; their lives faster and more completely.<\/p>\n<p>A community open house is scheduled for Sunday, July 15, from noon &#8211; 3:00 p.m. For information, call Sandra J.
