The popular SCA Summer Concert series began this year on June 26 and will run through Sept 4. The weekly series of free concerts are held on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the village’s Outdoor Entertainment Center in the South Glens Falls Historical Park, located west of Route 9 at First Street.

“These concerts are a great way for us to come together one night a week to hear some great music in our river-side park and enjoy a sense of community,” said South Glens Falls Mayor Keith W. Donohue. “I want to thank SCA for its continued sponsorship of these summer concerts and its other contributions to our village.”

“At SCA, we strongly believe in strengthening the quality of life in the communities where we live and work,” said Mike Mound, regional director of Northeast Operations for SCA’s away-from-home professional hygiene business in North America. “We are happy to have the opportunity to support this family-friendly local tradition.”

This year’s series begins with a performance by the Brat Pack, which features 80s rock. A complete listing of this summer’s 11 concerts can be found at www.sgfny.com.

SCA has approximately 400 employees in upstate New York at its mill in South Glens Falls, converting facility in Greenwich and distribution center in Saratoga.
