Pre-game activities begin at 12:45 p.m. with<br \/>\na 1 p.m. kickoff scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>The annual game raises funds for local youth<br \/>\nprograms. This year&#8217;s net proceeds will benefit<br \/>\nTaylor&#8217;s Heroes and Saratoga Pop Warner football<br \/>\nand cheerleading programs.<\/p>\n<p>The Allegiance Bowl highlights teams from<br \/>\nthe Collegiate Sprint Football League where no<br \/>\nplayer can weigh more than 172 pounds three<br \/>\ndays prior to kick off. The quick, explosive sport<br \/>\nplaces an emphasis on athleticism and team<br \/>\nplay rather than on player size.<br \/>\nBowl game activities include a banquet the night before the game to welcome players and fans. It is open to the public, and will feature as keynote speaker former West Point garrison commander Col. Pat Kane, a member of Army&#8217;s undefeated 1972 sprint football team.<\/p>\n<p>Game day features family-friendly activities including a vintage military aircraft flyover, skydiving exhibition where jumpers deliver the game ball to the stadium and an award-wining marching band.<\/p>\n<p>Since its inception, the Allegiance Bowl has raised over $60,000 for youth charities. Tickets to the banquet are $25 and may be obtained by calling 588-6952. Game tickets are $5 in advance, $8 day of game.
