\npublic relations and event support to soft
\ndrink and technology companies on both the
\ncorporate and client sides.<\/p>\n

\nProject. The project
\nbecame necessary
\nwhen unconventional
\noil and gas drilling operations
\nin the northern
\ndistrict of the Allegheny
\nNational Forest (ANF)
\nin Pennsylvania threatened
\nto contaminate the watersheds flowing
\ninto New York’s ASP.\n<\/div>\n
\ncoordinator for the Allegheny Defense Project
\n(ADP), a non-profit advocacy organization
\nbased in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny National
\nForest, and brings to ADK many years of experience
\ndefending public lands from mismanagement
\nand extraction abuse.<\/p>\n
\n20 years of experience in cultural resource
\nmanagement, and has worked as a sustainability
\ncoordinator and as an intelligence analyst.
\nThe Adirondack Mountain Club, founded
\nin 1922, is the oldest and largest organization
\ndedicated to the protection of the New York
\nState Forest Preserve.<\/p>\n
\nAugust, three new members were elected to
\nthe board of directors.
\nElected were:<\/p>\n
\nof Villanova University. His 30-year career at
\nGeneral Electric Plastics Division focused on
\nexecutive management, sales and marketing.
\nHe is the retired president\/CEO of SABIC Innovative
\nPlastics & Executive Vice President
\nof SABIC Co.<\/p>\n
\nAdvisory Council member of Villanova University
\nand advisor to Autism Speaks.<\/p>\n
\na graduate of the University of Notre Dame
\nwith a bachelor’s degree and a master’s from
\nNew York University. Her career has focused
\non new business development and government
\nrelations. Since 2007, she has served as the
\ndirector of government affairs for Motorola
\nSolutions Inc. Her son Gabe was diagnosed
\nwith neurofibromatosis at 6 months of age and
\nparticipates in the Double H Ranch adaptive
\nwinter sports program and summer camp.<\/p>\n
\nFoundation Endurance Team and is a member
\nof the Neurofibromatosis Foundation Coalition.<\/p>\n
\nManhattan, a graduate of Lafayette College
\nwith a degree in business and economics. Her
\ncareer focus is asset management and she currently is serving in an equity marketing role at
\nthe investment bank Credit Suisse, where she
\nis a vice president. She spent seven summers
\nat the Double H Ranch, four as a full-time
\ncounselor and three as a summer volunteer.<\/p>\n
\nthe New York Foundling Hospital and Make-
\nA-Wish Foundation.<\/p>\n
\ntaxation and management consulting firm, announced
\ntwo new hires and one promotion at
\nits Queensbury-based office.<\/p>\n
\nwas promoted to manager. The Johnsonville
\nnative joined the firm in 2012 and brings
\nnine years of experience in accounting services
\nto her latest duties. She holds a bachelor’s degree
\nin business administration in accounting
\nfrom Siena College.<\/p>\n
\npast 13 years at two regional CPA firms. The Fort Edward resident joins Marvin and Co. at
\nthe in-charge\/supervisor level.<\/p>\n
\nMarvin and Co. as an auditor, having
\nearned an associate’s degree in business administration
\nfrom SUNY Adirondack and his
\nbachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY
\nOswego in 2013.<\/p>\n
\nfirm of Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC was presented
\nwith the Marie Ivancich Memorial Award from
\nthe Brain Injury Association of New York State.<\/p>\n
\nis given to an outstanding professional whose
\nsupport for the Association is evidenced by
