Glens Falls-based IT and managed services provider, StoredTech, has completed a technology solution for Hudson Headwaters Health Network, the area’s largest not-for-profit system of community health centers.<\/p>\n
With this newly implemented solution, Hudson Headwaters can now monitor every device on their network whereas previously, they were utilizing a third-party who was only providing the monitoring of servers due to the expense of the provider’s software.<\/p>\n
The organization expressed that they were happy to be taking advantage of software features that they did not have previously such as the ability to remote control all devices both inside and outside of the network, the ability to monitor for issues via a user-friendly dashboard – that they can access from anywhere, the ability to monitor and receive notifications on both critical and non-critical issues, and the ability to write their own scripts to monitor whatever specifics they want.
\nThey also noted that the patch management solution is straightforward and offers more intrusion detection features and that the service and response-times provided by the StoredTech team have been very impressive.<\/p>\n
“StoredTech was able to present us with a cost-effective, comprehensive solution that could be managed in-house versus our previous solution — which was outsourced and becoming very expensive,” said Stuart Chapman, Information Systems Director for Hudson Headwaters “We’re now implementing their IT management software’s advanced features and functionality to help streamline our computer systems and manage our IT networks more efficiently.”<\/p>\n
Hudson Headwaters Health Network is a not-for-profit system of community health centers providing care to the residents and visitors of the Adirondack, Lake George and Glens Falls areas. The organization currently has 14 Health Center locations and also provides care in the home, in the hospital and at nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities.<\/p>\n
