The Lake George Regional Chamber of
\nCommerce & CVB recently elected new
\nofficers for its board of directors for the
\n2013-14 fiscal year.<\/p>\n
Newly elected officers are: Jephson
\nHilary, owner of Inn on The Hill, Lake
\nGeorge, president; Janice Bartkowski-Fox,
\nowner, Adirondack Cotton Co., Bolton
\nLanding, first vice president; Sasha Pardy,
\nowner, Adirondack Winery, Lake George,
\nsecond vice president; Gary Thornquist,
\ngeneral manager, Lake George RV Park,
\nQueensbury, treasurer; Fred Vogel, owner,
\nThe Lodges at Cresthaven & The Boathouse
\nRestaurant, Lake George, secretary.<\/p>\n
The officers were introduced to members
\nat the Chamber’s annual dinner in October
\nat Dunham’s Bay Resort.
\n“I am delighted to have been chosen by my fellow board members” said Hilary. “The Chamber truly has been a benefit to my property these many years. I look forward to working with the board, the Chamber staff and all our volunteers in striving to add value, relevance and recognition to our role in the community.”<\/p>\n
Having served as the Chamber’s president for the past six years, Bartkowski- Fox said she is pleased to turn over the leadership Hilary and is looking forward to becoming, once again, the Chamber’s first vice president, where she will be able to focus on the growth and retention of the Chamber’s membership.<\/p>\n
“We have a wonderful core group of members and I see great possibilities for expansion of membership within the Chamber,” she said. She will also serve as chairperson for the Chamber’s Events Committee.<\/p>\n
“I too am honored to be awarded with the position of second vice president”, said Sasha Pardy. “In this capacity, I become chair of the Programs Committee, and one of my priorities for the coming year is to bring hospitality, restaurant and attraction personnel together to learn more about each other’s offerings, with the goal of improving cross promotion and customer service across the board that will, ultimately and positively, impact the visitor’s experience. I also look forward to working with board to improve the Chamber’s Internet and Social Media presence.”<\/p>\n
