The Adirondack Trust Co. was named the
\ntop active Small Community Bank Lender in
\nthe Capital Region for a record 13 straight
\nyears and in the 34-county Syracuse District
\nfor seven consecutive years.<\/p>\n
Small Business Administration Syracuse
\nDistrict Director Bernard J. Paprocki said
\nthat in the category for Small Community
\nBank Lenders, Adirondack Trust Co. was
\nthe most active lender (number of loans
\noriginated) in the Capital Region for the
\nfiscal year ending Sept. 30. For 13 straight
\nyears, Adirondack Trust outperformed all
\nother SBA 7(a) small community bank
\nlenders in the region.<\/p>\n
The company approved 31 loans worth
\n$1.6 million to Capital Region startup and
\nexisting small businesses, bank officials
\nsaid.
\n“We are extremely pleased to receive this designation, now for a record 13 straight years,” said Charles V. Wait, president and CEO. “Since our founding in 1901 the Adirondack Trust Co. has been committed to helping small businesses grow. It is gratifying to be recognized by the SBA Syracuse District as the top small community bank lender each and every year that these records have been kept.<\/p>\n
