Adirondack Technical Solutions (ATS) was recently awarded a wireless deployment with the YMCA of Greater Rochester. The YMCA of Greater Rochester is the second largest YMCA in New York state. ATS officials said the wireless solutions were designed to provide connectivity to the state-of-the-art exercising equipment, just installed at each location, while providing BYOD access for each member.<\/p>\n
Included was taking into consideration that the member access needed to be separate from equipment access and business traffic needed to remain private. ATS was able to deploy a solution to accommodate the needs of the YMCA while maintaining the highest level of security.<\/p>\n

The Cambridge office of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. assisted two local organizations during its “Be Active, Be Healthy” themed Community Appreciation Day on May 30.
\nVarious fundraisers, including raffles for a mountain bike and other gift baskets, generated over $500 to be split between the Cambridge Tribesman Booster Club and Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad. There were also free blood pressure checks by the Rescue Squad, giveaways and healthy lunch options.<\/p>\n

Hudson Headwaters Health Network (HHHN) recently made a donation to the Glens Falls Hospital’s Annual Fund.<\/p>\n
Dr. John Rugge, CEO, presented a $10,000 check on behalf of the organization in support of minimally invasive and robotic technology.<\/p>\n
It marked the first significant cash donation from HHHN to the fund, officials said.<\/p>\n
Gifts to this year’s fund support minimally invasive and robotic technology. GFH surgeons perform minimally invasive procedures that cover a wide range of specialty services, including obstetrics and gynecology, as well as vascular, general, and urological surgeries. Officials said these procedures allow patients to return to their lives sooner due to smaller incisions, minimal scarring, and quicker recovery times.<\/p>\n

The Charles R. Wood Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from IRS approved 501(c)3 organizations whose projects or programs assist children, healthcare or the arts in the Lake George Region and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations with an emphasis on programs for children, healthcare and the arts.<\/p>\n

The third annual Habitat for Humanity of Northern Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties Charity Golf Classic sponsored by Arrowhead Equipment & Snyder Drywall will be held on Thursday, July 24 at Cronin’s Golf Resort, in Warrensburg.<\/p>\n
The tournament is a four-person scramble, with registration and lunch at 11 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at noon. The cost is $110 per person and it includes a program of special events, beverages during lunch and while on course, cart and greens fees, gift bag, event golf polo donated by Fisher Engineering and steak dinner after the tournament. Additional activities will include both silent and Chinese auctions, and both male and female longest drive and closest to the pin contests.<\/p>\n
