The Warrensburg office of Glens Falls
\nNational Bank and Trust Co. raised almost
\n$600 for the Warrensburgh Historical
\nSociety and North Country Ministry during
\nits annual Community Appreciation Day
\non July 17.<\/p>\n
A basket raffle generated $585 for the
\ntwo nonprofits, both of which attended
\nwith informational displays; plus, food
\ndonations were collected for the Thurman
\nFood Pantry. In addition, the Historical
\nSociety sold several tickets for its kayak
\nraffle fundraiser during the event.<\/p>\n
The Community Appreciation Day also
\nincluded wagon rides by Our Simple Life
\nFarm, a Nettle Meadow Farm cheese tasting
\nand petting zoo, food, face-painting
\nand giveaways.
\nAdditionally, the Fort Ann office of the
\nbank generated over $1,000 for the Fort
\nAnn Youth League’s playground project
\nduring its baseball-themed Community
\nAppreciation Day on July 31.<\/p>\n
A bake sale, raffle and donations raised
\n$1,018 for the playground project. In addition,
\nthe Fort Ann Booster Club generated
\n$96 for its mission by selling Fort Ann
\nsports apparel on-site. The event also
\nincluded baseball-themed food, giveaways
