The Adirondack Regional Chamber of
\nCommerce will hold its centennial gala,
\nto celebrate its presence in the business
\ncommunity going back to 1914, on Nov. 1 at
\nthe Sagamore Resort, 110 Sagamore Road
\nin Bolton Landing.<\/p>\n
The Chamber’s 100th anniversary event
\nwill feature four different rooms of live
\nentertainment.
\nIn the main ballroom, Total Entertainment
\nwill have a professional DJ. In each
\nof the remaining three rooms, the Chamber
\nwill feature musicians Rich Ortiz, the
\nCharles Cornell Trio, and Avery Babson.<\/p>\n
A signature specialty drink, designed by
\nthe professionals at the Sagamore, will be
\noffered in each room.
\nThroughout the evening, a continuous
\nvideo presentation will depict the Chamber’s
\njourney through the century, including
\nhistoric photos and quotes from past
\nChamber presidents and chairpersons of
\nthe board of directors.<\/p>\n
There will be a “Live Like You’re On
\nVacation” raffle. The winner will receive
\n12 months worth of prizes, which includes
\novernight stays at many of the resorts in
\nLake George, entertainment packages, spa
\nservices and more.<\/p>\n
To take part in the raffle, people must
\npurchase one or more of the limited number
\nof raffle tickets available for $20 each
\n(winner need not be present at the gala
\nto win). To purchase a ticket, call Ashley
\nLaVoy at 798-1761.<\/p>\n
There will also be hors d’oeuvres and
\ndrink samples from several of the members
\nof the Adirondack Craft Beverage
\nInitiative.<\/p>\n
The gala is open to the public and will
\nrun from 6-11 p.m. Tickets are $100 per
\nperson.

There is also an opportunity to be a “century
\nsponsor” at the gala for $350, which
\nincludes two tickets, and an invitation to
\na champagne toast on the veranda at the
\nSagamore. Those sponsors will have their
\ncompany’s name on the master sponsor list
