\nTitle Association’s (ALTA) Best Practices.<\/p>\n

\nnation and currently the first and only firm in
\nthe state to receive the certifications for compliance,
\naccording to the firm.<\/p>\n
The Best Practices Program was implemented
\nby ALTA to provide mortgage lenders
\nwith a uniform standard of high competency for
\ntheir closing attorneys in the areas of licensing,
\nprotection of client funds and non-public private
\ninformation, compliance with federal and
\nstate consumer finance laws, title insurance
\npolicy production and delivery, maintenance of
\nproper professional liability and fidelity insurance
\ncoverage and resolution of any consumer
\ncomplaints.
\nALTA’s Best Practices certification is a voluntary
\ntool to help highlight the safeguards in
\nplace to ensure that closing activities meet all
