LARAC invites artists\/artisans to apply for
\nbooth space in their annual juried June Arts
\nFestival, Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14.
\nThe deadline to apply is Feb. 28 without a late
\nfee of $15.
\nAll fine artists and artisans are invited to apply
\nwith no geographic or LARAC membership
\nrestrictions.<\/p>\n
Categories of artwork include, but are not
\nlimited to: ceramics\/pottery, decorative painting,
\ngraphics\/illustration, fabric\/fiber, floral,
\nglass-work, jewelry, leather, metalwork, mixed
\nmedia, fine arts, photography, beauty products,
\nculinary arts and wood.<\/p>\n
Work must be of original design handcrafted
\nby the artist. Reproductions of original work
\nmust involve handwork or direct supervision by
\nthe artist. Embellished items, objects made from
\ncommercial kits and imported or manufactured
\ngoods are not eligible.
\nArtists can apply for both the June Arts Festival
\nand Fall Arts Festival all with one application.
\nThis year the fall festival has a new venue, the
\nGlens Falls Civic Center, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
