Tri-County United Way will hold its seventh
\nannual Summer Slam Classic Golf Tournament
\non Friday, June 19, at Airway Meadows Golf
\nClub in Gansevoort.<\/p>\n
The format is four-person scramble and there
\nwill be a 12:15 p.m. shotgun start. Registration
\nbegins at 11 a.m. Cost is $85 and includes golf,
\ncart, beverages, lunch, and dinner following the
\ntournament.<\/p>\n
The tournament benefits Tri-County United
\nWay, an organization that helps fund a wide
\nvariety of human services agencies in Warren,
\nWashington and northern Saratoga counties.
\nTri-County United Way also sponsors the
\nRetired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)
\nwhich provides extensive medical transportation
\nand other volunteer services to the
\ncommunity, and houses the Volunteer Income
\nTax Assistance (VITA) and MyFreeTaxes.com
\nprograms.<\/p>\n
Tournament sponsors are Gracenote and Six
\nFlags Great Escape.
