Equitas Realty will soon open this office in the Rogers Building on Bay St. in Glens Falls\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In less than a year since transforming from a
\nfranchise office into an independent brokerage,
\nSaratoga Springs-based Equitas Realty is expanding
\nto Glens Falls.<\/p>\n

The new office, opening in mid-August, will
\nbe its second location. It is located in the Rogers
\nBuilding at 21 Bay St.
\nThe brokerage and its agents have been serving
\nthe Glens Falls market out of its Saratoga
\nSprings office.<\/p>\n

Janet Besheer, broker\/owner of Equitas Realty,
\nsaid the new Glens Falls office presence reflects
\nthe brokerage’s recognition of the exciting renaissance
\nand growth of the Glens Falls market.
\n“We couldn’t be more excited about the
\ndevelopments in and around Glens Falls,” she
\nsaid. “Developers like Glen Street Associates
\nare investing in the community, restaurants are
\nbuzzing most nights of the week, and home buyers
\nare seeing the excellent values that exist in this
\nwonderful area.”<\/p>\n

According to Besheer, the company had with
\nover $53 million in 2014 sales and has grown
\ninto one of the top real estate brokerages in the
\nentire Greater Capital Region, as recognized in
\n2015 by the Albany Business Review. She said it
\nis the largest woman owned real estate company
\nin the area.<\/p>\n

Its current roster of 40 independent Realtors
\nserve clients from Albany to Lake George.
\n“The Rogers building is another restored
\njewel in the Glens Falls market by Glen Street
\nAssociates and we feel honored to be the final
\ntenant in the keystone position of this historic
\nproperty,” said Justin White, managing director
\nof Equitas Realty. “This location, right across from
\nthe Crandall Library Park at the intersection of
\nBay and Maple puts us right in the heart of one of
\nupstate New York’s oldest, prominent cities, and
\nthe gateway to the Adirondacks.”<\/p>\n

Peter Hoffman, president of Glen Street Associates,
\nsaid “we couldn’t be happier to complete the
\nrenovation of the Rogers Building with a quality
