Opening Night will feature<br \/>\ntwo giveaways, a magnet schedule and a<br \/>\nrally towel, which will commemorate the<br \/>\nfranchise&#8217;s home opener, team officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunder&#8217;s schedule is highlighted by<br \/>\nthe traditional New Year&#8217;s Eve game, featuring<br \/>\nindoor fireworks, which will be played on<br \/>\nThursday, Dec. 31, as the Thunder host the<br \/>\nReading Royals. The New Year&#8217;s Eve game<br \/>\nhas been a tradition in Glens Falls dating<br \/>\nback to the Adirondack Red Wings, and was<br \/>\nsuccessfully presented this past season with<br \/>\nthe Adirondack Flames, in front of an over<br \/>\ncapacity crowd of 4,821, officials said.<br \/>\nTwo new scheduling features include a<br \/>\n&#8220;School Day Game,&#8221; held on Wednesday, Nov.<br \/>\n18 at 10 a.m. as the Thunder host the Norfolk<br \/>\nAdmirals. The game offers elementary and<br \/>\nmiddle school classrooms from local schools<br \/>\nthe opportunity to spend a day at the Civic<br \/>\nCenter, as the Thunder offer an educational<br \/>\nexperience centered on hockey.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunder will also offer the &#8220;Lake<br \/>\nPlacid Experience&#8221; on Sunday, March 13,<br \/>\nagainst Reading at the historic Herb Brooks<br \/>\nArena in Lake Placid, with a 7 p.m. start time.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunder will wear three specialty<br \/>\njerseys during the inaugural season,<br \/>\nbeginning with Military Appreciation Night,<br \/>\npresented by U.A. Local 773 on Saturday, Dec.<br \/>\n12. The Thunder will also hold Pink in the<br \/>\nRink, presented by Glens Falls Hospital, on<br \/>\nSaturday, Jan. 16 and Autism Awareness Night<br \/>\non Saturday, April 2. Each set of jerseys will<br \/>\nbe auctioned off with proceeds being donated<br \/>\nto a charitable organization associated with the cause.<\/p>\n<p>Post-game skates and meet-and-greets<br \/>\nwith the team, sponsored by Glens Falls<br \/>\nHospital, will also see a return to the Civic<br \/>\nCenter, on Sunday, Nov. 29; Sunday, Feb. 28<br \/>\nand Sunday, April 3. All three games will face<br \/>\noff at 3 p.m. and feature an opportunity to<br \/>\nmeet the team after the conclusion of the<br \/>\ngame.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunder will hold a number of<br \/>\ngiveaways throughout the season, headlined<br \/>\nby a youth jersey giveaway, sponsored by<br \/>\nGlens Falls Hospital, on Friday, Dec. 4 and<br \/>\na team picture giveaway on Sunday, April 3.<br \/>\nAdditional giveaways will be announced at<br \/>\na later date.<\/p>\n<p>Group ticket packages are available<br \/>\nbeginning today, May 28, for all 2015-16<br \/>\nhome games, beginning on Saturday, Oct.<br \/>\n24, as the Thunder host the Manchester<br \/>\nMonarchs at the Glens Falls Civic Center.<br \/>\nGroup plans are available for groups of 10<br \/>\nor more tickets. Group pricing, per ticket, is<br \/>\nlisted below. The prices include a 7 percent<br \/>\nsales tax and a $1 Civic Center facility fee.<\/p>\n<p>The Thunder also introduced a new group<br \/>\nincentives program to help reward the groups<br \/>\nthat come out to the Civic Center. Groups will<br \/>\nreceive incentives in the form of Thunder<br \/>\nautographed items and experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Full season, partial season, flex ticket<br \/>\npacks and group tickets are available to<br \/>\nrenew or purchase. All full season, 22 game<br \/>\nand 12 game Thunder season ticket holders<br \/>\nare entitled to unlimited unused ticket<br \/>\nexchange, playoff ticket priority and the<br \/>\nability to buy tickets all season long at the<br \/>\ndiscounted season ticket price.
