The Washington County LDC and the
\nAdirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce
\nare currently accepting nominations for the
\nWashington County Small Business of the
\nYear Awards.<\/p>\n
The award recipients will be honored at
\na special luncheon on Friday, Dec. 4 at the
\nKingsbury Firehouse, 3715 Burgoyne Ave.,
\nHudson Falls.
\nNomination deadline is Oct. 23.
\nOfficials said nominations can be made by
\nany individual who lives, works or conducts
\nbusiness in Washington County.<\/p>\n
All the nominator needs to do is provide
\nthe name of the business, name of the owner
\nor contact person and a brief description as
\nto why this company deserves the award. A
\nmember of the award selection committee
\nwill meet with and interview each nominee to
\nfurther evaluate their credentials and develop a case for their receiving the award.
\nSmall business of the year award criteria
\nincludes:<\/p>\n
\u2022 An established Washington County
\nbusiness with two to 50 employees.
\n\u2022 Commitment to Washington County.
\n\u2022 Staying power.
\n\u2022 Unique product or service.
\n\u2022 Exceptional customer service.<\/p>\n
