The Warrensburg office of Glens Falls
\nNational Bank and Trust Co. raised almost
\n$1,500 for Operation Santa Claus during its
\nCommunity Appreciation Day in August.<\/p>\n
Basket raffles and other fundraising activities
\ngenerated $1,469 in donations for Operation
\nSanta Claus, which provides food and clothing
\nto children in need during the holidays. The
\nevent also collected food donations for a local
\nfood pantry.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Aviation Road office of the
\nbank raised funds and awareness for Big Brothers
\nBig Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks during
\nits Community Appreciation Day.
\nBasket raffles and other fundraising activities
\ngenerated $415 for Big Brothers Big Sisters, which
\nmatches mentors with children facing adversity
\nto encourage one-to-one relationships that
\nchange their lives for the better. The Community
\nAppreciation Day also featured food, activities
\nfor kids, giveaways and more.<\/p>\n
Also, the Granville office of the bank raised
\nover $500 for the Pember Library and Museum
\nduring its Community Appreciation Day in
\nAugust. Raffles and other fundraising activities
\ngenerated $520 as well as donations of craft
\nsupplies for the library.<\/p>\n
The bank’s Exit 18 office raised over $1,000
\nfor the Glens Falls Senior Center during its
\nCommunity Appreciation Day.
\nBasket raffles and other fundraising activities
\ngenerated $1,082 for the center’s heat assistance
\nprogram, which helps with heating bills for
\nseniors in need.<\/p>\n
The bank’s Kingsbury office collected
\ndonations for the SPCA during its Community
\nAppreciation Day in September.
\nFundraising activities resulted in pet food as
\nwell as some cash donations for the organization.<\/p>\n
In addition, a Kingsbury Volunteer Hose
\nfiretruck was on display to honor 9\/11 victims,
\nand the Hudson River Music Hall provided
