The restaurant opened in October.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>BY ANDREA PALMER<\/p>\n<p>John Jiang is the co-owner and manager of John&#8217;s Asian Bistro, at 940 Route 9 in Queensbury.<\/p>\n<p>Jiang owns the restaurant with his brother.<\/p>\n<p>Jiang has owned a restaurant in New York<br \/>\nCity for over 10 years. Jiang&#8217;s wife is currently<br \/>\nrunning that restaurant for him.<\/p>\n<p>Jiang got the idea for the local restaurant while<br \/>\nvisiting his brother, who also owns John&#8217;s Wok in<br \/>\nthe Aviation Mall. Jiang felt there was not a lot<br \/>\nof quality Asian cuisine in the area.<br \/>\n&#8220;I am a sushi chef of over 10 years. I like<br \/>\nto bring new food and new style to this area<br \/>\nso people can have more choice. We have the<br \/>\nonly Korean pan-style barbecue in the area,&#8221;<br \/>\nsaid Jiang.<\/p>\n<p>Jiang states that their sushi and barbecue set<br \/>\nthem apart in the industry. Additionally, they<br \/>\noffer a lunch-time &#8220;bento box&#8221; special.<\/p>\n<p>Future plans include the opening of more<br \/>\nrestaurants. Jiang said he will be opening another<br \/>\nsushi restaurant, called Blue Fin 9, at the<br \/>\nLake George Outlets, perhaps within the next<br \/>\ntwo months.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t see any fusion sushi here.
