The Hyde Collection <\/b>will extend its museum hours on Thursday evenings throughout the month of August to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
The new initiative, titled Hyde Night Out, will also pair the extended hours with participatory programming for the community.
\nA gallery tour with The Hyde’s curator, Jonathan Canning, will be held on Aug. 18 and the museum’s second annual Art Battle will be held on Aug. 25.<\/p>\n

A total of $118,232 was raised for the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital<\/b> at the 8th annual Cindy & Skeets Glens Falls Hospital Cancer Day Golf Tournament, held July 8 at the Glens Falls Country Club.<\/p>\n
More than 200 golfers and 150 sponsors and donors supported the tournament, which has raised more than $815,000 for support programs for cancer patients and family members since its inception in 2009.<\/p>\n
This year’s tournament added 18 new sponsors, including the Queensbury Hotel as the major sponsor.<\/p>\n
The tournament honors the memories of the late Cindy Ginsburg and Ralph “Skeets” Woodbury, two longtime and beloved members of the regional community who lived with cancer for many years and supported the Cancer Center in many ways.<\/p>\n
The hospital’s first Cancer Day Golf Tournament was held in 1974 and was later named in honor of Woodbury, one of its founding organizers. In 2009, that tournament was merged with Cindy’s Summer Classic, which was founded in honor of Ginsburg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
