Factors including high-risk events, revenue and expense recognition methods, SEC actions, and bankruptcy risk were all considered as indicators of a company’s credibility.

The S.A.V.E. Lake George Partnership became the beneficiary of two special events held this summer in Lake George that raised a total of $12,500.

The Fishing Derby resulted in 151 anglers competing for $15,000 in prizes. Fishermen came from as far away as Maryland to compete in three divisions for large and smallmouth bass and lake trout. Entry fees this year generated a return of $5,000 for the S.A.V.E. Partnership.

This year’s music festival raised $7,500 for S.A.V.E. with attendance in Shepard Park exceeding 2,000. The funds came from vendor fees, T-shirt sales, and admissions.
