Winners are Zoe Meacham, home schooled, who will be attending SUNY Adirondack; Alexander Jenkins, Corinth High School, who will be attending SUNY Oneonta; Jeffery Petteys, Corinth High School, who will be attending Siena College; Haylee Mello, Glens Falls High School, who will be attending SUNY New Paltz; and Brianna Pierce, from Queensbury High School, who will be attending the University of Vermont.<\/p>\n

The Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce<\/b> will host a meeting on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulation that takes effect Dec. 1.<\/p>\n
The session will be held 8:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Wingate by Wyndham hotel, 4054 Route 9L, Lake George.<\/p>\n
ARCC officials said major changes are expected to make nearly five million white-collar employees eligible for hourly and overtime pay.<\/p>\n
The presentation will cover details of the final regulation, practical options for reclassifying employees to ensure compliance and proactive risk management transition strategies.<\/p>\n
The presenter will be Michael D. Billok, a member of Bond, Schoeneck & King’s Albany office. He is the co-chairman of the firm’s cybersecurity and data privacy practice. He regularly represents employers in state and federal court, and is an expert regarding the Fair Labor Standards Act.<\/p>\n
The cost is $25 for members and $50 for non-members.<\/p>\n
