After winning back-to-back US Search
\nAwards in 2013 and 2014, Mannix Marketing
\nInc. was in the running for a third consecutive

In September, the Glens Falls-based digital
\nmarketing company was named to the shortlist
\nfor the 2015 awards in three categories: Best Use
\nof Search–Travel\/Leisure, Best Low Budget
\nCampaign and Best Use of Social Media in a
\nSearch Campaign.<\/p>\n
It was Mannix Marketing’s work on an
\norganic search engine optimization and content
\ndevelopment campaign for Saratoga.com that
\nearned them the nomination for Best Use of
\nSearch–Travel\/Leisure, the company said.
\nThe campaign was launched in an effort to
\nincrease traffic to Saratoga.com and build
\nbrand recognition.<\/p>\n
The company said it also aimed to turn
\nSaratoga.com into a top online destination for
\nresidents and visitors seeking information on
\nwhat’s happening in the Saratoga region and
\nultimately convert those visitors into business
\nleads for advertisers on the site.<\/p>\n
Officials said that despite facing steep
\ncompetition from national brands who are
\nincreasingly encroaching on regional websites,
\nMannix Marketing’s campaign for Saratoga.com saw impressive results. Saratoga.com
\nnow boasts number-one placements in
\norganic search results for hundreds of targeted
\nkeywords. The site’s visibility has increased
\nsubstantially, while organic search traffic to
\nthe site has increased by more than 20 percent
\nyear over year.<\/p>\n
According to the company, the campaign also
\nresulted in a nearly 85 percent increase in traffic from Facebook to Saratoga.com, increased
\nrevenue generated from Google traffic and
\nincreased page views for key sections of the
\nSaratoga.com website, including the “What’s
\nNew” section, the Racetrack Guide and the
\nSummer Guide in 2015, compared to 2014.<\/p>\n
