The Adirondack Flames and the Glens Falls
\nCivic Center announced a partnership with
\nthe Davidson Brothers Brewing Co. for the
\n2014-15 season.<\/p>\n
The brewing company renovated a portion
\nof Heritage Hall inside the Maple Room and
\ntransformed the space into the Davidson Bros
\nFlames Pub, officials said.
\nThe area is open on all game nights and is
\naccessible to fans present at the game.<\/p>\n
“This initiative with Davidson Brothers allows
\nus to bring a well-known and respected
\nfood and beverage brand from just a few
\nblocks away into Heritage Hall and enhance
\nthe patron experience,” Adirondack Flames
\nPresident Brian Petrovek said.
\n“We commend the Davidsons’ vision and
\ncreativity with this project and trust that
\nother downtown establishments would want to
\nfollow suit. Our fans should be fired up about
\nthis addition.”<\/p>\n
The new Pub will be located next to the
\nbuffet area and serve four authentic cask conditioned
\nales in a British pub style setting.<\/p>\n
The beers will be rotated among a variety of
\nDavidson brand craft beers, as well as beer selections from different pubs in the area.
\nThe pub will also feature a light fair menu,
\nin conjunction with Ovations Food Services,
\nas well as soda and water, said officials.<\/p>\n
The Davidson Bros. Flames Pub will also
\npartner with Labatt Blue and Saratoga Eagle
\nto include the Canadian lager on tap. Labatt
\nwill also provide a bubble hockey table and
\na basketball game. Televisions, which will
\nprovide an in-house game feed, will also be
\nin the bar.<\/p>\n
“John and I are very happy to provide
\nAdirondack Flames fans with the authentic
\nDavidson Brothers pub experience inside
\nthe Civic Center,” Rick Davidson, brewer and
\nowner, Davidson Brothers Brewing Co., said.<\/p>\n
The new pub debuted on Oct. 11 for the
\nFlames’ first game against the Albany Devils.<\/p>\n
The Flames also have a “Saturday Night
\nis Hockey Night in Glens Falls” series, when
\nthere are home games. Several local bars and
\nrestaurants have partnered with the initiative
\nincluding Davidson Brothers, The Bullpen,
\nApplebee’s, Recovery Sports Grill and Dango’s
\nIrish Sports Bar, with additional partners to
