Hudson River Community Credit Union
\n(HRCCU) plans to break ground on a new
\n3,000-square-foot branch office in December,
\nreplacing its current branch at 312
\nPalmer Ave., Corinth.<\/p>\n
“The design of this newly constructed
\nbuilding will incorporate many of the great
\nideas submitted to the Credit Union by its
\nmembers,” said HRCCU CEO Sue Commanda.<\/p>\n
“Some of the new branch’s member-inspired
\nfeatures include a high-capacity,
\nthree-lane drive-thru, a dedicated ATM
\ndrive-up lane and a children’s play area.”
\nThe new building will be designed and
\nbuilt by F. H. Alexander Inc. of Ballston
\nSpa, and will replace a structure which has
\nhoused the Corinth-based credit union for
\nmore than 50 years with a more modern,
\nenergy-efficient building, Commanda said.<\/p>\n
The new branch will be built to the immediate
\nright-hand side of the current branch,
\non an existing parking lot and grass area,
\nallowing the existing branch to remain open
\nuntil the new building is complete.<\/p>\n
A ground breaking is being planned for
\nearly December. Completion of the branch
\nis scheduled for June, 2015.<\/p>\n
HRCCU is a nonprofit financial cooperative
\nowned and governed by its members.
\nAnyone who lives, works, worships, attends
\nschool or businesses and other legal entities
\nlocated in Warren, Washington, Saratoga
\nand Rensselaer counties or the towns of
\nCohoes, Watervliet and Green Island and
\ntheir family members are eligible to join.<\/p>\n
HRCCU has five branches located in Cohoes,
\nCorinth, Glens Falls, Hudson Falls
