The intersection<br \/>\nimprovement project includes a roundabout,<br \/>\nsidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, landscaping<br \/>\nand other streetscape enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>The $1.67 million project was funded<br \/>\nthrough the cooperation of the federal<br \/>\nHighway Administration, state Department<br \/>\nof Transportation, Adirondack\/Glens Falls<br \/>\nTransportation Council and the town. The<br \/>\nfederal government paid 80 percent of the<br \/>\nproject cost.<br \/>\nCreighton Manning Engineering of Albany<br \/>\ndid design and construction inspection for<br \/>\nthe project.
