Smart Car Wash on Quaker Road in Queensbury is constantly changing and meeting new customer demands, says owner Krystal Greenough.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

People driving\u00a0 <\/span>by the Queensbury Smart Car Wash may assume it\u2019s an average car wash with a quick drive-through. They may want to think again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company not only provides the most modern technology for cleaning automobiles, but it also operates with a business philosophy that goes beyond just washing cars and being successful, according to owner Krystal Greenough. <\/span><\/p>\n

The family owned business\u2014at 166 Saratoga Ave., South Glens Falls, and 708 Quaker Road, Queensbury\u2014wants to not only bring customers in, but to treat them in a way that will keep them coming back.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to quality service, Greenough said they are always striving to bring in the latest technology when it comes to one of the most important items a person is in possession of\u2014their vehicle.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are constantly working to make it a better experience for our customers,\u201d said Greenough.<\/span><\/p>\n

Greenough said Smart Wash is constantly changing and meeting new customer demands. It offers several different services. <\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201clava shield\u201d wash provides the a bath, shine, paint sealant, hot wax and shine, rim cleaner, underbody blast, spot-free rinse, clear coat protectant, scented soap and tire shine. <\/span><\/p>\n

Other packages include wax and shine, wheel care, express packages, and a $3 prep called \u201cbugs and birds.\u201d The \u201csmart towel exchange program\u201d guarantees customers always have a clean drying or detailing towel at each visit. <\/span><\/p>\n

Smart Wash offers a corporate vehicle program,aimed to for small business owner. The program cares for commercial vehicles, including sales or service vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Smart Wash, formerly Water Works, first opened in South Glens Falls in 2014. Greenough said her family made a few updates, like installing a teller and adding new vacuums. They took over the Adirondack Car Wash location on Quaker Road in Queensbury, along with the self-serve bays located on Dix Avenue in 2015. <\/span><\/p>\n

Greenough said after close to a\u00a0 <\/span>year of owning the Quaker Road location, they decided to close down for a period and do a complete renovation. Today, they are up and running with the most modern options available.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBusiness is going well and growing,\u201d said Greenough.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is open Monday through Saturday,\u00a0 <\/span>8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Its website is www.smartwashcarwash.com.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
