Broestler, who has served as administrative assistant for the past two years, is the new external affairs associate. In this role, she will manage the museum\u2019s donor database system and support department activities including membership, cultivation, and special events.<\/p>\n
Working under Director of External Affairs Tawn Malison, Broestler will provide support for development goals and marketing strategies.<\/p>\n
Ditlefsen was hired as administrative assistant after a year as visitor services associate. She will provide general office support, including monitoring and maintaining the Dudek works with museum educator Jenny Hutchinson to develop curriculum for the Hyde\u2019s educational programs, and leads children\u2019s activities including Tours for Tots, ARTfull Afternoons, and workshops.<\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n Silver Bay YMCA announced that Nick Rama <\/b>will join its team as development director,\u00a0 <\/span>starting July 31.<\/p>\n In this role, Rama will take charge of the development activities at Silver Bay YMCA, which funds the organization\u2019s many free outreach programs such as the Ticonderoga Teen Center, Cancer Respite program, Clergy Respite program and Military R&R program.<\/p>\n Rama worked for the last several years as the senior development officer at SUNY New Paltz. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at the Culinary Institute of America in several roles, including senior director of annual giving and significant giving, senior director of advancement operations and associate director of corporate relations.<\/p>\n ***<\/p>\n The ECHL announced that Cameron Close<\/b> of the Adirondack Thunder is the 2016-17 recipient of the ECHL Broadcaster of the Year award as determined in voting by league media relations directors and broadcasters.<\/p>\n Close, a 2016 nominee for the award, joined the American Hockey League\u2019s Adirondack Flames in 2014-15 following his graduation from the University of New Hampshire, and just completed his second season with the Thunder.<\/p>\n He was selected to serve as the broadcaster for the 2017 CCM\/ECHL All-Star Classic, hosted by Adirondack in January, and broadcast live nationally on NHL Network.<\/p>\n In addition to serving as the team\u2019s broadcaster, Close also is the Thunder\u2019s director of corporate sales and handles all of the team\u2019s travel services. While at New Hampshire, he served as the play-by-play broadcaster for three years for the WUNH, the school\u2019s student station.<\/p>\n The Thunder were also nominated for two other ECHL Awards. Director, Communications & Community Relations Zach Dooley was a finalist for the Media Relations Director of the Year, the second consecutive season he\u2019s been nominated. The Adirondack Thunder ticket sales staff was also a nominee for the ECHL\u2019s Ticket Sales Staff of the Year award.<\/p>\n HCR Home Care has added two new employees to its Washington County operations.<\/p>\n Kristy Kelly of Hudson Falls was hired as a clinical field staff supervisor.
