\"\"NBT Bank has promoted Marc Monahan<\/b> to vice president. He now serves as a team leader on NBT Bank\u2019s management team based in Glen Falls.<\/p>\n

Monahan has more than a decade of banking experience. He joined the NBT Bank team in 2010 as a branch manager and advanced to the position of market manager. In 2015, he became a business banking officer.<\/p>\n

Monahan earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego. He is a board member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, member of the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition Board, President of the Glen Falls Civic Center Foundation, and a member of the Glen Falls Hospital Foundation Board.<\/p>\n

Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte CPAs, PC, announced that Karen Foster<\/b>, its manager of pension operations with over 30 years of experience in retirement plan management and client services administration, will lead the Retirement Plan Services division as the new director.<\/p>\n

A former benefit plan consultant and record-keeper, she joined TBC in 2007. She is a graduate of University at Albany, holding both a master\u2019s and a bachelor\u2019s degrees in economics. She is an American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) credentialed Qualified 401(k) administrator.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

She was formerly employed by an actuarial and benefit plan consulting firm, a bank trust department and an ERISA attorney. Her practice focuses on working with brokers and clients to determine the best type of plan for firms and maintaining contact with them to ensure that the plan continually meets their needs.<\/p>\n

\"\"Alexis Connor<\/b> recently joined the team at Mannix Marketing Inc. as a digital marketing and SEO strategist.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Connor will provide clients with search engine optimization, pay-per-click campaign management, and social media marketing strategies.<\/p>\n

Connor brings with her five years of professional advertising experience, as well as certifications in Google AdWords and Google analytics. Prior to joining Mannix, she was employed as a digital media specialist at Brawn Media.<\/p>\n

Before her time at Brawn Media, Connor worked at PHD, a NYC advertising agency, where she developed and executed campaigns for national clients. Connor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in television radio film from the Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University.<\/p>\n

\"\"Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. announced the hiring of Whitney E. Burger<\/b> as municipal banking officer.<\/p>\n

Burger will be responsible for maintaining, growing and servicing the company\u2019s municipal relationships. She will work closely with branch staff and business partners to offer a variety of products and services to meet customer needs.<\/p>\n

Burger, of South Glens Falls, will be in the same role for Saratoga National Bank and Trust Co., also part of the Arrow Financial Corp. family of companies. She joins the bank with more than 15 years of banking experience.<\/p>\n

She attended Ithaca College, where she received her bachelor\u2019s degree in communications. She serves as Treasurer of the Warren Washington County Homeless Youth Coalition and is an Ambassador for the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

\"\"Julie & Co. Realty announced that Lisa McTygue<\/b>, licensed real estate salesperson, has joined their Saratoga Springs-based team.<\/p>\n

McTygue is a native resident of Saratoga Springs and has been licensed since 2005.<\/p>\n

She covers Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties and also has expertise in equine properties as well as residential resale.<\/p>\n

\"\"Champlain Telephone Co. announced the selection of Steve MacNerland<\/b> as the director of outside plant operations at Champlain Telephone and sister company PrimeLink, which serves Warren and Washington counties, among others.<\/p>\n

MacNerland has experience as an installer, cable splicer, central office technician, level 3 internet technician, and most recently the manager of unified communications. He has been with Champlain Telephone and PrimeLink since 2006.<\/p>\n

His major accomplishments include Metaswitch training certification, Nortel specialist certification, Core Cisco Switch installation and provisioning, and the development and launch of the Hosted PBX product for the companies.<\/p>\n

MacNerland is an alumni of SUNY Canton where he studied electrical engineering.<\/p>\n

MacNerland will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Outside Plant Department to accomplish network construction, maintenance, operations support, and project activities in a timely and cost-effective manner. He will provide leadership in programs and directives to maintain and improve all facets of the Champlain Telephone and PrimeLink telecommunications network infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Arrow Financial Corp. announced that David S. DeMarco<\/b>, a senior vice president since 2009, will expand his role as the company\u2019s chief banking officer.<\/p>\n

In addition, Andrew J. Wise<\/b> was added to the executive leadership team as senior vice president and chief operating officer.<\/p>\n

DeMarco will be responsible for oversight of all retail and small business banking strategy and functions for the company.<\/p>\n

In his role as chief operating officer, Wise will be responsible for the overall management of the company\u2019s internal administration, including operations and strategic planning.<\/p>\n

DeMarco will continue to serve as president and chief executive officer for Saratoga National Bank and Trust Co., a subsidiary of Arrow. Wise will continue to serve as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co., the lead subsidiary of Arrow.<\/p>\n

Sue Blair, was hired as\u00a0 operations specialist. She came to TBC with over 20 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries.<\/p>\n

Kristina Farrell<\/b> and Karen Jennings<\/b> were both hired as staff accountants.<\/p>\n

Farrell received her Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in business and a Master of Science in accounting degree, both from the University at Albany. Prior to starting at TBC, she worked as a staff accountant at a smaller firm.<\/p>\n

Jennings attended the University at Albany for both her undergrad and graduate degrees. She received her Bachelor of Science in accounting, as well as her Master of Science in taxation. Her prior experience included working as a staff accountant at another firm.<\/p>\n

Matthew Murphy<\/b> joined TBC as a staff accountant with prior experience as a tax intern. Murphy received both his Bachelor of Science in accounting, as well as his Master in Business Administration at SUNY Oswego.<\/p>\n

Sonia Hoogkamp<\/b> was hired as a bookkeeping specialist. She graduated with an Associate of Science in business from Hudson Valley Community College. Prior to starting at TBC, she performed bookkeeping services for construction companies.<\/p>\n

Brittany Stahura<\/b> was hired as a staff accountant with three years of experience as a tax analyst at another firm. She attended Bryant University while earning her Bachelor of Science in accounting, and received her Master of Science in administration with a focus in accounting from Union College.<\/p>\n

Josh Conn<\/b>, previously an intern, was hired full-time. He received both his Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of Science in accounting, along with a certificate in forensic accounting from The College of Saint Rose.<\/p>\n

Ludmila Alexandrov<\/b>, CPA, was hired as a tax supervisor. Alexandrov received her Bachelor of Science in business administration with an accounting concentration from the University of California in Northridge. She has almost 20 years of experience as both a staff accountant as well as a tax manager at another accounting firm.<\/p>\n

The Adirondack Civic Center Coalition has added five new members to its board.<\/p>\n

Anthony Mashuta<\/b> is the CEO and president of Cool Insuring Agency, where he\u2019s worked since 1982. Mashuta has held positions as vice president, senior vice president and secretary of the board of directors and is currently responsible for the overall performance of the agency. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mashuta also serves as the president of the board of directors for Proctors Theater in Schenectady.<\/p>\n

Mickey Orta<\/b> oversees the financial services division of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. He leads the wealth management and insurance divisions of the bank and also serves as portfolio manager for the North Country Equity Growth Fund. Orta joined Glens Falls National in 1998 and held various positions in the investment department. Active in his community, he serves on the board for the Tri County United Way as well as the Queensbury Community Scholarship Association.<\/p>\n

Joe DiLandro<\/b> is the legal services sales leader of ILC Legal, LLP, a member firm of the PricewaterhouseCoopers network. Prior to joining PwC, DiLandro was responsible for the North American sales team at Computershare Governance Services.\u00a0 He has volunteered for a number of community-based organizations, including the Family YMCA of Glens Falls Area, where he served as board secretary.<\/p>\n

Sarah Wright<\/b> is the interim chief financial officer at AHI, Inc., where she has leadership responsibility for building and managing effective and streamlined administrative and financial systems. Wright joined AHI in May 2015 after she worked in various roles at LeverPoint Management LLC, CR Bard, AngioDynamics, Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Wright, a certified public accountant, is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).<\/p>\n

Marc Monahan<\/b> currently serves as the vice president commercial relationship manager at NBT Bank\u2019s Glens Falls Commercial Banking offices. He serves as the president of the Civic Center Foundation, is an executive board member with the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a board member at Glens Falls Hospital. Monahan is a Hudson Falls native that graduated from Oswego State in 2003.<\/p>\n

The Hyde Collection announced the appointment of three new officers to the museum\u2019s board of trustees.<\/p>\n

David Howson<\/b> was named chairman of the board, and Chelsea Silver<\/b> and Mark Behan<\/b> were appointed to co-vice chair positions.<\/p>\n

Howson is a teaching professor and Arthur Zankel executive director of arts administration at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. He previously served as associate managing director at Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Conn., and was interim executive director of the Modin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond. He earned a B.A. and Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Richmond, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama.<\/p>\n

Howson is a trustee of the Depot Theatre in Westport, for which he recently finished a three-year term as president. He also served on the board of Saratoga Arts.<\/p>\n

Behan is president of Behan Communications, a strategic communications and public relations firm he founded 30 years ago. He serves on the boards of Arrow Financial Corp., Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co., Glens Falls Hospital, Glens Falls Foundation, E. Leo Spain Foundation, and Kelly\u2019s Angels.<\/p>\n

Silver is co-owner of Silverwood Home & Galleries in Saratoga Springs and a real estate agent with Town and Country Properties. She is a trustee on the board of the Charles R. Wood Foundation and volunteers for several gala committees, including those of Double H Ranch and Saratoga Hospital Foundation.<\/p>\n

Headwaters announced that cardiologist, Dr. Patrick J. Rowley<\/b>, FACC, is partnering with Hudson Headwaters.<\/p>\n

While continuing his primary practice at Adirondack Cardiology in Queensbury, Rowley will be at the Warrensburg Health Center to see Hudson Headwaters patients two half-days per week.<\/p>\n

Rowley graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in pre-professional and sociology. He then went to the University of Vermont College of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and his cardiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. he has been a practicing cardiologist with Adirondack Cardiology since 2001.<\/p>\n

Bond, Schoeneck & King announced that Robert F. Manfredo <\/b>and Thomas W. Simcoe<\/b> from the Albany office have been elected as members of the firm.<\/p>\n

Manfredo is an experienced labor and employment attorney who counsels employers on a vast array of employment laws and regulations. He works with employers in a broad range of industries, including higher education, non-profit, construction and health care.<\/p>\n
