He said they currently have 40 employees and the move will allow them to hire additional staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are constantly hiring the best of the best and will continue to do so. At this time, we are the employer of choice for technology jobs in the area,\u201d said Shaw.<\/p>\n<p>The current space at 543 Queensbury Ave. has about 10,000 square feet. Shaw said the new location will have a collaboration center space. Other planned amenities include a meeting space that will be provided free to clients and local nonprofits in the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have it now and want to ensure that wherever we end up that it remains,\u201d said Shaw.<\/p>\n<p>Shaw opened his business with the belief that customers should expect more from their service providers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe, as a firm, have focused on customer delight. It has been the core tenant of everything we do. When we listen to the clients and adapt to their needs, we have found that the business growth takes care of itself,\u201d he said. \u201cEverything we do, every day, starts with the ideal of \u2018customer delight.\u2019 That has meant that many of the norms for IT support had to be tossed out the window and new methods of support were built. Nothing else has been a bigger driver of our success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>StoredTech provides back-end computer support for business phone systems, computers, networking, managed services, security and access control.<\/p>\n<p>Shaw\u2019s business evolved from a humble start in a basement office to its current headquarters in Queensbury that features a full-service communications center, corporate offices and the collaboration center. It also now has offices in Albany and Plattsburgh.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, it acquired Sabre Networks in Youngsville, N.C., an IT managed solutions company. Sabre Networks was founded in 1996 and has provided managed IT support services to organizations across the research triangle region of North Carolina for over 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>Shaw began his IT career as a consultant at 17 when he started his first company. He has degrees in business management and information systems, he moved on to garner experience and training at every level of company and business.
