Flaherty<\/b><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>of T.K Flaherty Associates in Queensbury, has received accreditation from the American Public Works Association (APWA) as a certified public infrastructure inspector (CPII) as well as certification at Level I in underground utilities construction, water and sewer lines by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>NICET certification is based on successfully passing an exam demonstrating requisite knowledge, experience and work performance as set forth by the institute. NICET is a division of the national Society of Professional Engineers.<\/p>\n<p>Flaherty has over 50 years of experience in the public utility construction field, including the development of the Queensbury Water System for the town of Queensbury when he served as the town water superintendent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He is the founder and President of T.K. Flaherty Associates with offices in Queensbury, and Bellwood, Ala. Flaherty is also an associate of Miller Engineering located in Manlius.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Flaherty is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in water and waste water technology. Chandler was a member of HomeStart\u2019s leadership team, with shared responsibilities for all major organizational initiatives, including a three-year strategic plan to increase HomeStart\u2019s fiduciary credibility and efficiency. He represents publicly traded and closely held corporations, higher education institutions and not-for-profit entities.<\/p>\n<p>Champion has previously served on the board of directors of several organizations, including the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Economic Growth, and currently serves on the board of directors of Fenimore Asset Management.
