\"\"NBT Bank announced that retail market manager Ian Townsend<\/b> has been promoted to vice president.<\/p>\n

Townsend has over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. After completing NBT\u2019s management development program, he advanced to positions of increasing responsibility in the bank\u2019s Albany and Saratoga County branches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He was named assistant vice president in July 2015 and was promoted to retail market manager in June 2016.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Townsend is responsible for managing the teams at NBT\u2019s 12 branches in Clinton, Essex, Saratoga and Warren counties.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A resident of Milton, Townsend earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in economics from the University at Albany. He is currently involved in several professional and community organizations, including several local chambers of commerce, Friends of the Saratoga Springs Library and the Northeastern Subcontractors Association.<\/p>\n

\"\"Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. has promoted Jessica Pound<\/b> to direct lending manager.<\/p>\n

Pound will analyze loan applications to make informed approval decisions; direct, coach and counsel staff to meet department goals; and direct day-to-day operations for direct consumer lending activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She joined the bank in 2012 and most recently served as a direct lending associate.<\/p>\n

Pound holds an associate degree from Clinton Community College and is in the process of earning her bachelor\u2019s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh. An active member of her community, she is involved in Family Services Association as a sponsor and is an annual campaign volunteer for the Glens Falls branch of the YMCA. She resides in South Glens Falls.<\/p>\n

The Glens Falls Hospital Foundation announced the addition of three new members to the board of trustees and a new slate of officers for 2018.<\/p>\n

Dr. Sean Bain<\/b> is an internal medicine physician specializing in hospital medicine at Glens Falls Hospital and president of the medical staff. He serves as a hospitalist, providing care exclusively to inpatients at Glens Falls Hospital. He earned his bachelor\u2019s degree from Stanford University, his medical degree from Albany Medical College, and served his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.<\/p>\n

Andrew Brodie<\/b> is co-manager of Yankee Boating Center in Lake George, the Thousand Islands region and Rockland County. He earned a master\u2019s degree in electrical power systems engineering from RPI and a bachelor\u2019s degree in physics\/geology from Middlebury College.<\/p>\n

Marc Monahan<\/b> is vice president of NBT Bank in Glens Falls. He earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego and an associate\u2019s degree in business administration and management from SUNY Adirondack.\u00a0 <\/span>He also serves on the boards of directors of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Glens Falls Civic Center Foundation, and is a past president and treasurer of the Glens Falls Hospital Guild.<\/p>\n
