Six Flags Great Escape Resort in Lake George will rebrand its outdoor water park as Six Flags Hurricane Harbor for the 2019 season<\/span><\/p>\n

The park will undergo a major expansion with more to see and do than ever before,\u00a0 <\/span>including two new attractions; a bright, tropical theming throughout; and a new dining location.<\/span><\/p>\n

Officials said it will offer guests a bigger, and better experience. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHurricane Harbor will offer exciting, new attractions with Bucket Blasters and Shipwreck Cove, plus a completely new look featuring imaginative, tropical theming and a myriad of park enhancements to delight guests of all ages\u201d said Six Flags Great Escape Resort President Eric Gilbert.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cSix Flags is a world-renowned leader in thrills and innovation, and we are excited that our outdoor water park is getting fresh, new updates to become Hurricane Harbor,\u201d he said. <\/span><\/p>\n

The company said Hurricane Harbor highlights will include:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/b>A 14,000 square foot water play area expansion.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/b>Two new water attractions\u2014Bucket Blasters and Shipwreck Cove.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/b>Expanded seating areas, featuring shaded zones and a new food location.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Bucket Blasters, riders will spin around in water barrels equipped with water guns for a splashing battle with friends, family and bystanders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shipwreck Cove will feature a fun activity pool with interactive water sprays, geysers, and fountains for hours of water play entertainment. <\/span><\/p>\n
