Zobel & Co. Kitchens has won \u201cBest Of Service\u201d on Houzz, an online platform for home renovation and design.
\nThis is the fifth year in a row that Zobel & Co. Kitchens, 11 Broad St., Glens Falls, has won the award. The firm, specializing in custom kitchen design and cabinetry, was chosen by the more than 40 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community from among more than 2.1 million active home building, remodeling and design industry professionals.
\nThe Best Of Houzz badge is awarded annually. The customer service award honors are based on several factors, including the professional\u2019s overall rating and client reviews.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County was recently awarded a $1,500 grant from the Sportsmen\u2019s Alliance to help support programs that introduce new audiences to outdoor recreational activities like hunter safety, riflery, archery, outdoor safety skills, wild game cooking, and fishing.
\nThe grant programs are part of the R3 (Recruit, Retain, and Retrain) movement to stop the decline of sportsman active in the field.
\nCurrently, the team of partners includes CCE of Warren County, NYS 4-H Shooting Sports, the NYS 4-H office, and Dr. Keith Tidball at the Cornell Department of Natural Resources. The grant for $1,500 will be used to support promotion, site\/facility rental, equipment, and a small amount for volunteer gifts.
\nEvent site locations will be determined in the next several weeks. One will be in the Capital region; the other will likely be in the Finger Lakes region.

Zonta Club of Glens Falls will hold its Country Faire in June in downtown Glens Falls.
\nIt is scheduled for the weekend of June 15-16, the same as the LARAC festival, which is located across the street in the City Park. The LARAC festival and Zonta Country Faire attract over 20,000 people each year, organizers said.
\nIt will be the 59th annual fair, and will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. It is a rain-or-shine event.
\nThe Zonta Country Faire is not a juried event and is open to all vendors and crafters.

Mannix Marketing has made the\u00a0Interactive Marketing Awards 2019\u2019s shortlist\u00a0for entries in two different award categories.
\nMannix was named to the shortlist for \u201cBest Interactive Marketing \u2013 Health & Beauty\u201d for its organic SEO and Paid Search program for Eddy Senior Living, and \u201cBest PPC Campaign\u201d for its Google Ads campaign for Piano Showcase.
\nPresented by the organizers of the U.S. Search Awards, the second annual Interactive Marketing Awards 2019 will celebrate and reward excellence in interactive marketing campaigns, agencies and in-house teams. The awards feature 28 categories and attract hundreds of entries from leading search and digital agencies from across the US, as well as those based elsewhere around the globe who are delivering work for the US market.
\nDeveloped and facilitated by senior digital marketing strategist Lisa Bishop and digital marketing strategist Danielle Martindale, Mannix Marketing\u2019s shortlisted campaign for \u201cInteractive Marketing \u2013 Health & Beauty\u201d focused on improving Eddy Senior Living\u2019s online presence, increasing phone calls and contact form submissions, and ultimately increasing occupancy in the Eddy Senior Living retirement communities.
\nThe result was a 27 percent increase in website traffic and an outstanding 1,248 percent increase in conversions, which translated into a 159 percent increase in sales\/occupancy.
\nMannix Marketing also received a shortlist nomination in the \u201cBest PPC Campaign\u201d category for its work with Piano Showcase, the world\u2019s largest distributor of \u2018Schaff\u2019 piano benches, lamps, covers, dollies, parts and tools. Developed and managed by Martindale, the goal for the PPC (paid search) campaign was to increase sales from Google Ads and decrease the cost per conversion.
\nIn just six months, Mannix Marketing was able to increase conversions (phone calls, contact form submissions and orders placed) by a stunning 97.3 percent compared to the previous year. Overall number of sales increased by 88.2 percent and the cost per conversion decreased by 68 percent.
