Courtesy Regan Development Corp<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>By Christine Graf<br \/>\nConstruction is underway on Regan Development Corp.\u2019s Broad Street Commons, a four-story mixed-use complex located on a four-acre site on Broad Street in Glens Falls.<br \/>\nThe $19.2 million complex will contain 73 affordable housing apartments and 6,300 square feet of retail space. U.W. Marx of Troy is the general contractor for the project and their crews will work through the winter.<br \/>\nAlbany-based Regan Development Corp. has developed more than $384 million worth of real estate in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The company\u2019s area of expertise includes market rate housing, affordable rental apartments, and special needs and active adult development.<!--more--><br \/>\nAccording to Larry Regan, president of Regan Development, the target completion date for Broad Street Commons is February or March of 2021. They will begin marketing apartments in six to seven months.<br \/>\n\u201cThe project included the removal and demolition of an existing single family vacant home on the site,\u201d he said. \u201cThat has been done, and the lot has been cleared &#8230; We have a 15-month construction schedule.\u201d<br \/>\nRegan said the project is \u201cright on schedule\u201d and that the he and his staff have been working closely with the city, and Ed Bartholomew, president of EDC Warren County.<br \/>\nBroad Street Commons will contain 27 one-bedroom apartments, 41 two-bedroom apartments, and 4 three-bedroom apartments<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Christine Graf Construction is underway on Regan Development Corp.\u2019s Broad Street Commons, a four-story mixed-use complex located on a four-acre site on Broad Street in Glens Falls.
