Additionally, President Biden has launched public policy initiatives to \u2018green\u2019 the economy to compete globally, especially with China.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAnd the growing awareness and acceptance by consumers of the importance of sustainable practices to counter climate change, is creating a perfect storm of opportunity for entrepreneurs and the advisors who serve them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Glens Falls Urban Agriculture Pilot, a pioneering private\/public initiative sponsored by the City of Glens Falls, engaged Sustainable PR to generate exposure for its new vertical farming system. This project will develop and refine a self-contained vertical farming system, designed to grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and plants at site-independent locations year-round. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The goal of this project will be to help communities across New York state pursue a green path of recovery through the post-COVID era of economic transition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s2\"><!--more--><\/span>Sustainable PR will leverage its services for key message development, community and media relations, and social media for the project\u2019s milestones in the coming months, said DeFazio.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Underway less than a month, the campaign has already garnered high social media engagement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cSince relocating from Philadelphia, Tony has made an immediate impact in Glens Falls,\u201d said Jeff Flagg, PhD., economic development director for the City of Glens Falls. \u201cHaving discovered his passion for the environment, I knew he was a natural choice for our urban agriculture project. We\u2019re already benefitting from Tony\u2019s media savvy and advice, and I am proud and pleased to have him on our communications team.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">From the west coast, Sustainable PR was also sought out by (re)x (pronounced re-to-the-x), an eco-design company founded by accomplished Los Angeles-based designer Paulina Quintana to launch a revolutionary fully recyclable hanger made from 100 percent ocean and landfill-bound plastics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Quintana\u2019s mission is to create sustainable solutions for everyday products and turn them into an opportunity to remove plastic waste from the environment.
