This expansion, which includes new equipment to increase brewing capacity and meet the rising demand for diverse craft beverages, was made possible by funding from the State Development Craft Beverage Micro Grant Program.<\/p>\n<p>Among the new offerings introduced since the expansion is a canned hard strawberry lemonade called \u201cCliff Jumper.\u201d Beyond its variety of beers, the brewery has also launched a selection of beverages that include canned hard lemonades and teas, hard ciders made from New York State apples, hard seltzer, and the popular Bear Wizz Root Beer.<\/p>\n<p>John Carr, owner of Adirondack Pub &amp; Brewery said, \u201cWe are incredibly grateful to the state of New York and Empire State Development for this generous grant, which helps support economic growth and jobs in the Lake George Area. This has been instrumental in helping us expand our operations and continue to craft high-quality beverages right here in Lake George. This grant not only allows us to meet the growing demand from our customers but also reinforces our commitment to contributing to the local economy and community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adirondack Pub &amp; Brewery, established in 1999, is open year-round and supports a variety of jobs in the Lake George Area. State and local officials joined at the ceremony to speak to the economic impact of this brewery expansion on the local economy. The brewery was also presented a joint citation by State Sen. Dan Stec and Assemblyman Matt Simpson\u2019s offices.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><strong><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"s2\"><!--more--><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>Hope Knight, Empire State Development president, CEO and commissioner said, \u201cCraft breweries are cornerstones of communities all throughout New York state because they support jobs, attract visitors, and encourage new regional economic growth. ESD is proud to have helped Adirondack Pub and Brewery expand its operations and production, ensuring that even more people can enjoy the craft beverages made in the heart of Lake George.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>State Sen. Dan Stec, 45th District, said, \u201cFor a quarter century, Adirondack Pub and Brewery has been a vital part of Lake George village\u2019s economy. Its success comes as no surprise since Adirondack Pub and Brewery has remained at the forefront of the region\u2019s craft brewing renaissance since its inception.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Assemblyman Matt Simpson, District 114, said, \u201cThe craft brewing industry in New York state has exploded in popularity and success over the last twenty-five years. Near the forefront of it all is John Carr. Adirondack Pub and Brewery has served as a blueprint for what\u2019s possible, borne out of a vision of John\u2019s to do more than simply brew a delicious product. The brewery represents a cornerstone in the regional tourism economy where both residents and visitors alike come together in celebration of community. In everything it does, whether it be the ADK 5K, Oktoberfest, or countless charitable endeavors, the Adirondack Pub and Brewery reflects the enthusiasm, positive energy, and forward-looking vision of John. This expansion, completed in part through the incredible support of New York State ESD, is a significant milestone for the brewery, the Lake George area and the New York State craft brewing industry at-large.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lake George Mayor Ray Perry said, \u201cCoincidentally, the village line begins right where Adirondack Pub and Brewery is located, making it a fitting gateway to welcome people to the village of Lake George. We\u2019re incredibly fortunate to have such a thriving business in this prime spot. John Carr is a true visionary who recognized the potential of the craft beverage industry long before others did. When he established Adirondack Brewery in 1999, he put Lake George on the map for craft beer enthusiasts. Now, twenty-five years later, we\u2019re here celebrating John and his team as they expand once again. This is a business that never stops innovating, always keeping things fresh. Adirondack Brewery is open year-round, providing jobs in every season for Lake George Village. Their events also bring visitors to the area during the shoulder seasons and have raised more than $135,000 for charity over the years.
