She will work with NBT Bank\u2019s home lending operations team.<\/p>\n<p>A lifelong member of the Bolton Landing community, Mihaly brings more than 16 years of mortgage experience in the North Country. Prior to joining NBT Bank, she served as a Residential Mortgage Officer at Arrow Financial Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>Mihaly serves on the Board of Directors for Pine Knolls Alliance Church, the Wiawaka Center for Women and the Children\u2019s Committee of Warren County.<\/p>\n<p>NBT Bank and its parent company, NBT Bancorp Inc., are headquartered in Norwich, NY. She has worked with individuals facing homelessness, mental illness and substance use challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Since becoming executive leader at RISE in 2016, Newell has overseen growth in programs, community partnerships and housing efforts that serve hundreds of people each year. She has also worked in direct mental health support and held roles in frontline services and state government before returning to lead RISE.<\/p>\n<p>She holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology from Skidmore College and a master\u2019s degree in Community Psychology from Sage Graduate School.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly honored to be recognized by the Saratoga County Citizens Committee for Mental Health,\u201d said Newell. \u201cThis work has always been about the people we serve and the belief that everyone deserves stability, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild.
