Elbow macaroni, house blended cheese, smoked bacon, shredded pulled pork all drizzled with smokey house BBQ sauce. Sound delicious? It was! To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of mac and cheese, but my sister Cory ordered it. (She pretty much has to get mac and cheese every time she sees it on a menu.) Anyways, when it came I tried a bite of hers and ended up having half of it! Oh-My-Gosh. To die for. The pulled pork made it so tasty and the cheese and breadcrumbs added the perfect touch. I’ve never had BBQ sauce on mac and cheese before, but let me tell you it was great! A little pricey, at $16, but I have to say it was worth every penny.
We also ordered “Something Spicey” from the Burgers section. It’s a fresh blend of chunk, short rib, topped with havarti cheese, pickled spicy and sweet peppers, baby greens, and smothered with smoked chipotle aioli. Woo-wee was this delicious too! It had a unique special tang to it that was perfect, might have been the aioli sauce that did it for me. De-lish! The burgers come with thinly cut house fries that are very tasty too. If the server asks if you want fries or a salad with your burger, you just have to go for the fries!
Last but not least to wash all this delicious food down was of course a nice cold refreshing beer! We were after all at a Brewery, isn’t that a rule? 😉 We opted for the Hefeweizen which was light and crisp, and very refreshing to say the least.
Overall, we had an very nice experience, We sat outside in the courtyard which had a nice vibe, the service was great, and the food was just outstanding. On our Richter scale of gourmet hats, I give Druthers Brewery in Saratoga Springs 5 Gourmet Hats!!! We will definitely be going back.
We’d love to hear your experience! Have you eaten at Druthers yet? What did you get and was it good? If you haven’t, do you plan on checking it out? Leave your comments below. Until then, happy eating!
