Thanksgiving: Family, Friends & Food! My Favorites!

Happy Thanksgiving foodie friends! My turkey coma has about warn off. It was a wonderful day! It was great to spend the day with my husband Gus, good friends & family!

Thanks fellow blogger Amberly for sharing the day with us! It was fun to relax, laugh & pig out!

I see a couple of days of leftover action coming. Does anyone have any creative suggestions? What do you make with your Thanksgiving leftovers?

This year’s menu was paired down from the usual Thanksgiving menu we have. Rather than making enough for 20 to feed 3, we made enough to feed 8 or so. I’ll post a few of the recipes over the next couple of days. It’ll be nice to have them in the arsenal for next year’s meal.

I can’t believe that an Irish woman left out the potatoes, but I did. Maybe I’ll whip up some for the leftovers, but for today we had just enough!

Thanks Gus for all your work and to Amberly for some great laughs and your always wonderful company! Happy Thanksgiving to all my foodie friends! Let the holiday season begin!

Feel free to send your holiday food ideas! Cocktails, appetizers, side dishes, entrees, desserts, we love them all!

Tip: We always buy a disposable roasting pan for the turkey. You will be happy you did when you can toss the pan at the end rather than having to scrub it! Word!
