Looking for <b>recipes for corned beef<\/b>? Here are 2 that worked well for us.<\/p>\n<p>There are different cuts of corned beef. This year we tried an eye round and a brisket.<\/p>\n<p>This is the eye round, which we did in the crock pot.<\/p>\n<p>On low, it cooked for 6 hours and was amazingly tender <b>corned beef<\/b>!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"sandwich.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2013\/04\/sandwich.jpg\" width=\"260\" height=\"195\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><b>Easy Crock Pot Recipe For Eye Round Corned Beef Roast: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chop onion &amp; garlic and place in the crock pot.<\/li>\n<li>Place corned beef in the crock pot.<\/li>\n<li>Cover about half way with beef stock and some beer.<\/li>\n<li>Cover crock pot and cook on low for about 6 hours<\/li>\n<li>Gus did the cabbage steamed, but you can add it to the crock pot for the last couple of hours to cook through.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"brisket.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2013\/04\/brisket.jpg\" width=\"260\" height=\"195\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><b>Corned Beef Brisket Recipe For The Oven:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Same as above, but brown the brisket fat side down in a pan first.<\/li>\n<li>Place in a large roasting pan, fat side up<\/li>\n<li>Cover half way with the beer and stock<\/li>\n<li>Add the cabbage (cut into quarters)<\/li>\n<li>Cook at 275 degrees for about 4 hours (until tender)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Note:<\/b> Brisket is a fattier cut of meet.
