I am a HUGE fan of New Orleans! I love the city, the people, the music and especially the food and specialty cocktails! One of my favorite New Orleans cocktails is the Hurricane! Here is a recipe that I use. I multiply this by 4 to make by the pitcher for parties.<\/p>\n
1 oz of vodka
\n1 oz of gin
\n1 oz of dark rum
\n\u00c2\u00bd oz of light rum
\n1 oz of almond liqueur
\n1 oz of triple sec<\/p>\n
Top with pineapple & orange juice (I have even tried some of the combo fruit juices that come by the carton in the refridgerator section at the market)<\/p>\n
Combine over ice and shake well. If you are making larger batches, I suggest giving it a quick mix in the blender! Garnish with an orange slice, cherry and a chunk of pineapple. YUM!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
