This is a great &amp; easy pasta dinner. I like to do a few dishes like this over the weekend, so I have lunches for the week!<\/p>\n<p>Start your salted pasta water right away! The rest doesn&#8217;t take long at all to put together!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2012\/03\/saute-sausage.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" alt=\"saute-sausage.jpg\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 sausage links (I like spicy Italian)<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil <\/li>\n<li>Garlic to taste<\/li>\n<li>1 bag frozen broccoli florettes<\/li>\n<li>Penne pasta<\/li>\n<li>Stock (I use chicken)<\/li>\n<li>Romano cheese<\/li>\n<li>Fresh parsley<\/li>\n<li>Fresh Thyme<\/li>\n<li>Dried oregano<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Drizzle the skillet with olive oil and brown the sausages. Once browned, I take them out and slice them and set to the side.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2012\/03\/sliced-sausage.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" alt=\"sliced-sausage.jpg\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Add the minced garlic and a splash of stock stir well scraping any bits off the bottom. Add the broccoli and gradually mix in more of the stock. It should take about 2 cups of stock to make enough to coat the pasta. Add the sausage back in and cook until broccoli is cooked to your liking. I prefer it a bit well done for this meal. Add the pasta, herbs, fresh pepper &amp; salt to taste and freshly grated romano cheese. In my opinion, if you&#8217;re going to use cheese, use fresh! Food is only as good as the quality of the ingredients you use.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2012\/03\/sauce2.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" alt=\"sauce2.jpg\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2012\/03\/final-toss2.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" alt=\"Thumbnail image for final-toss2.jpg\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Plate using your favorite pasta dish and top with some fresh chopped herbs, grated cheese and fresh cracked pepper.
