I was happy to receive this submission from a Glens Falls Gourmet fan today! By fan I mean my husband Gus who is fishing in Key Largo this week, but he is a fan and fellow foodie!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"gus-fish.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glensfalls.com\/gourmet\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/111\/2012\/03\/gus-fish.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>One thing I enjoyed so much last year when I went on this trip to Key Largo was being able to take Gus&#8217; fresh catch to any local restaurant and have them cook it for us any way we wanted! What a great thing I thought! Charter a boat, spend the day on the water fishing. The crew cleans and packages the fish and you just take it to a local restaurant to have it prepared. Hey, do any local restaurants do this? Lemme know!<\/p>\n<p>It looks like some of this awesome speckled trout and hopefully another great haul tomorrow should make it back to Glens Falls, so hopefully some more fresh seafood dishes are coming soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Say that ten times fast!
