No, that’s not a typo. If you’ve never heard of latke, it’s a potato pancake that is eaten during the Hanukkah holiday season. And 2011 marks the first year that Glens Falls will play host to its own Latke Fest!
The 1st Annual Latke Fest will take place this Sunday, Dec 18th at Temple Beth El, located at 3 Marion Avenue in Glens Falls.
The celebration will be filled with music, games and a latke cook-off! Even the kids will get a chance to participate with their own latke creations.
Sounds like great fun and a terrific way to celebrate in the spirit of Hanukkah!
