Good News: students in the area can now enjoy fine arts and musical performances, for less!
The Glens Falls Rotary club has sponsored a grant to the Charles Wood Theater to offer discounted tickets to the local student population through its Charles R. Wood Theater Student Ticket Program.
The grant of $500 will be used as a pilot program and if it is successful the fund will become a part of the Wood Theater’s annual fund-raising campaigns.
High school and college students will receive a $5 discount on programs offered at the Wood Theater until the funds are utilized.

Those who wish to take advantage of the discount should call the Wood Box Office at (518) 874-0800 to obtain the discount and then present a valid id at the box office when picking up tickets.
And YOU can help support this fund too! Anyone who would like to help with this new fund can donate at the website or send their donations to Student Ticket Program at Wood Theater. Donations are tax deductible.
