The Charles R. Wood Theater is currently seeking tenants to utilize 217 Glen Street, the commercial space recently vacated by Uncorked Glens Falls. The theater owns the building and hopes local small business owners or community groups will temporarily rent the space while it seeks a long-term tenant.
The 2200-square-foot storefront features an open layout that could be ideal for celebrations, parties, meetings, yoga, dance or Zumba classes, said Debra Meier, President of the Charles R. Wood Theater Board of Directors.
“We were very sad to see Rich and Margot Cirino close UnCorked,” Meier said. “We now have an empty space that we would like to rent on an as-needed basis to anyone looking for a large room – even for just a few hours a week as we work to secure a longer-term tenant.”
